The Share A Smile Programme: Giving Back, One Smile at a Time
Borneo Dental Centre and Stef It Up Podcast run the Share A Smile Programme, an annual initiative providing free dental treatment to deserving Sabahans. Meet Harry and Rexcy, two patients whose lives changed.
At Borneo Dental Centre, we believe a confident smile shouldn’t be out of reach for anyone, regardless of what they can afford. That belief is why we partnered with the Stef It Up Podcast to create the Share A Smile Programme, our annual “Giving Back to the Community” initiative that provides completely free, life-changing dental treatment to deserving individuals across Sabah.
What is the Share A Smile Programme?
Each year, we open nominations for individuals whose confidence and daily lives have been affected by a dental issue they could not otherwise afford to fix, whether that’s misaligned teeth, a chipped tooth, or other dental concerns holding them back from smiling freely.
Selected patients receive their full treatment pro bono at Borneo Dental Centre, and their journeys are shared alongside the Stef It Up Podcast to inspire others and highlight just how much a smile can change a life.
Stories From the Programme
Harry’s Smile Story
Harry grew up avoiding photos and conversations because of his unaligned teeth. Through the Share A Smile Programme, he received a full pro bono braces treatment that transformed not just his smile, but his confidence.
Rexcy’s Smile Journey
A chipped front tooth affected the way Rexcy talked, laughed, and interacted with people for years. The programme gave him the treatment he needed to smile fully again.
